Keg sizes we carry

  • 1/2 Barrel (15.5 gal) — about 165 twelve-ounce pours. The standard full-size party keg.
  • 1/4 Barrel (7.75 gal) — about 82 pours. Same footprint as a half barrel at half the height.
  • 1/6 Barrel (5.16 gal) — about 55 pours. Tall and narrow; the usual pick for kegerators and multi-tap setups.
  • 5 Gallon — about 53 pours. The common size for cold brew, kombucha, and many local cider and wine kegs.
  • 50L Euro (13.2 gal) — about 140 pours. Imported brands only, and it needs a European coupler rather than a domestic one.

What you need along with the keg

Every keg needs a way to pour it. We rent keg pumps and jockey boxes, and sell couplers, regulators, faucets and beer line in the equipment collection. Kegs carry a refundable $50 deposit that comes back to you when the empty is returned — how deposits and returns work.

Running a kegerator on gas? We refill CO₂, nitrogen and beer-gas tanks in store.

Delivery and pickup

San Francisco: Tuesday–Saturday, with same-day delivery on orders placed by 9 AM. East Bay: Tuesdays. Peninsula and South Bay: Wednesdays. Marin by arrangement. No deliveries on Sundays or Mondays. Keg delivery is limited to one flight of stairs (12 steps maximum). Zones, order minimums and delivery fees are listed on our delivery page.
