About Mike's Liquors
Mike's has been part of San Francisco since 1959 — same trade, same corner of the Excelsior, at 5084 Mission Street.
For more than 65 years we've served the city's neighborhoods, offices, and celebrations. The corner bar that needed a last-minute keg. The office manager stocking a break room. The home cook hunting one specific Scotch, and the restaurateur building a wine list from scratch. We've watched generations of San Franciscans grow up, move in, and call this city home, and we've been here through all of it.
What we do now
Our name says liquor, and we still keep one of the deepest spirits selections in the city. But what people come to Mike's for has widened a lot. Cold brew coffee, kombucha, craft soda, sparkling water, and non-alcoholic beer and spirits now sit alongside the whiskey and the wine. We stock over 1,300 products, and a growing share of them have no alcohol in them at all.
The other half of the business is beverages on tap. We keep more than 140 kegs in rotation — beer, wine, cider, kombucha, and cold brew coffee and tea — and we handle the whole job, not just the keg: the right coupler, the gas, the deposit, delivery to your door, and picking the empty back up when you're done.
What we believe
Stocking a shelf is easy. Knowing what's on it is the job.
It means we know the difference between a Type D and a Type S keg coupler, and we'll make sure you leave with the right one. It means we'll tell you when the cheaper bottle is the better bottle. It means we answer the phone, we know your name, and we deliver.
What we carry
- Beverages on tap: More than 140 kegs — beer, wine, cider, kombucha, cold brew coffee and tea — with full deposit and return service.
- Non-alcoholic: A deep and growing range of cold brew, kombucha, craft soda, sparkling water, and N/A beer and spirits. See non-alcoholic.
- Spirits: One of the largest selections in San Francisco — whiskey, tequila, mezcal, gin, rum, vodka, brandy, cognac, and liqueurs.
- Wine: Reds, whites, rosé, Champagne and sparkling, sherry, port, sake, and vermouth from around the world.
- Beer: Bottles, cans, and an extensive keg program, including plenty from Bay Area brewers.
- Equipment: Kegerators, keg pumps, jockey boxes, couplers, and CO₂ and nitrogen refills.
For offices and businesses
A large part of what we do is keeping Bay Area workplaces stocked — offices, restaurants, event companies, and property managers. Business accounts get a dedicated contact, purchase order support, and a standing delivery schedule so nobody has to think about reordering.
We also install and service office taps, from a two-tap kegerator in a break room to a full tap wall. Details are on our Office Beverage Program page, and you can set up an account through Wholesale & Corporate Accounts.
Delivery and pickup
We deliver across San Francisco, the East Bay, the Peninsula, the South Bay, and Marin on a set weekly schedule, with same-day delivery on San Francisco orders placed by 9 AM. In-store pickup is always free.
Zones, cut-off times, and minimums are on our Delivery Info page. Kegs come with one flight of stairs included — tell us ahead of time if there are more, and we'll plan for it.
Visit us
We're open Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM, and closed Sundays. Come in and talk to us — that's always been the best part.
