Shipping & Delivery Policy

Delivery area

We deliver to addresses in San Francisco, the East Bay, and the South Bay. Outside this area, please contact us to discuss custom arrangements. We do not ship alcoholic beverages outside California.

Delivery schedule

  • East Bay: Tuesdays
  • South Bay: Wednesdays
  • San Francisco: Tuesday–Saturday (excludes Sundays and Mondays)
  • No deliveries on Sundays or Mondays.

Delivery windows (for example, “12–3 pm” or “11 am–2 pm”) can be requested in the order comments at checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred window but cannot guarantee exact delivery times.

Fees

A fuel surcharge is automatically applied to all delivery orders. Additional delivery fees may apply depending on order size and distance.

Keg deliveries

Keg deliveries are limited to one flight of stairs (maximum 12 stairs). If your delivery location requires more than one flight of stairs, please contact us before placing the order so we can discuss options or additional fees. Our drivers cannot carry kegs up additional flights due to safety and workers' compensation requirements.

Age verification at delivery

California law requires the recipient of any alcohol delivery to be at least 21 years of age, present with valid government-issued photo ID, and not visibly intoxicated. The driver will check ID at the door for every delivery. If these conditions cannot be met, the order cannot be left and will be returned to the store (see our Refund & Return Policy).

Failed deliveries

If no adult (21+) is available to receive and sign for the order, the delivery will be attempted again on the next scheduled delivery day for your zone. Repeated failed attempts may result in the order being returned and a restocking fee applied.

Order tracking

Once your order is scheduled for delivery, you will receive an email confirmation with the expected date and (if available) delivery window. For questions about an in-progress delivery, please contact us at orders@mikesliquors.com.

Business / wholesale accounts

B2B customers with assigned customer numbers may have custom delivery schedules, terms, and discounts that supersede the retail policy above. Please refer to your account agreement or contact us with account-specific questions.
